A stage developing on three fronts, 10 screens synchronized by a “watch out” system wrapping around all of the stalls, and a big central screen that was the heart of this area architecture.

800 people seated on revolving chairs followed the speakers taking turns from different sides of the room.

Dynamic direction led the guests in a continuous swell of emotions.

MIDO is the International Optics, Optometry and Ophthalmology exhibition that takes place every year in Milan.

Today MIDO is the most important international fair dedicated to the world of glasses: a unique event where people can find what’s new – projected, produced and displayed in preview for professionals.

On the occasion of its 40th anniversary, Mido offered a spectacular event for 2,000 guests recalling the 40 years of its history.

An orchestra of 40 musicians provided the soundtrack for the entire event.

A unique fashion show in partnership with Vogue Italy presented the historical glasses worn by wonderful models outfitted in relation to the previous four decades.

Andie MacDowell was the exceptional host of the soiree and she presented the show along with the Italian anchor Luca Barbareschi.

For the grand finale an emotional video along with laser effects was projected on to 20 mt (65 ft) high water-screen, before the concluding fireworks.

Lufthansa Italy

Italy launched its new business venture in Italy with a big event in the Central Point of Superstudio Più, Milan.

Around 500 people took part in the soiree: clients, business partners and authorities.

Karl Ulrich Garnadt, Executive VP, did the traditional ribbon cutting ceremony which was followd by a flying dancer symbolically travelling through Lufthansa’s eight new European destinations.

The eight new destinations from Milan were presented through specific shows originating in eight different towers arranged around the periphery of the venue.

The fashion show began with a fairy-tale opening: two children entered the scene in the dark with flashlights and found a big pop-up book; while they were leafing through the pages a voice-over told the story of the birth of Chicco.
This was the first big Chicco fashion show open to the general public.
